Election Results: Utah State Senate

Unofficial vote count report for Utah State Senate races.  Candidates who received 60 percent of their delegates’ votes are now the GOP nominees.  Districts in which no candidate received 60 percent will be decided in the primary election on June 26th.

District 16:
Andrew Holmes – 43 votes, 38 percent
Curt Bramble – 69 votes, 62 percent

District 19:
Dan Deuel – 27 votes, 27.3 percent
Allen Christensen – 72 votes, 72.7 percent

District 23:
Todd Weiler – 119 votes, 86.86 percent
Lamont Peterson – 18 votes, 13.13 percent

District 24: This race goes to a primary.
Patrick Painter – 65 votes, 40.1%
Ralph Okerlund – 97 votes, 59.9%

District 27:
2nd Round Results

David Hinkins – 85 votes, 65.9 percent
Stephen Whyte – 44 votes, 34.1%

1st Round Results

David Hinkins – 77 votes, 59.7 percent
Stephen Whyte – 38 votes, 29.5 percent
Michael Stansfield – 14 votes,  10.9 percent

District 28: This race goes to a primary
Casey Anderson – 75 votes, 56.3 percent
Evan J. Vickers – 58 votes, 43.6 percent

Updated on Monday, 4/23/12 at 8 p.m.: Vote counts were added to Saturday’s post and a few percentage balances were corrected.

    I don’t know if it’s just me or if everybody else experiencing problems with your
    site. It looks like some of the written text within your content are running off the
    screen. Can someone else please comment and let me know if this is happening to them too?
