How big WAS the crowd?
By now you’ve heard of the 9-12 rally in Washington DC, right? (Even though the White House said they knew nothing about it, nor who the “group” was that organized it). The Daily Kos – a VERY liberal blog – came out and said that pictures showing large crowds were actually pics of Dem gatherings and commenters said that the crowd was “no bigger than the turnout for a city barbecue”. Other guesstimates put the crowd at 2 million. The “people meter” on Pennsylvania Avenue said 1.5 million. Eight major roads, all packed would equal about
800,000 and of course, MSM reports numbers of 50 to 70,000.
Charlie Martin, over at “Pajamas Media” has a fairly in-depth explanation on how he arrives at 850,000, minimum. Hardly the numbers you’d
see at a city BBQ – and 350,000 more people than showed up at the “Million Man March”.

I was there. It was a great experience!
